Pet Dominion is excited to introduce the newest member of our veterinary family, Dr. Alexandra Lamar! Dr. Lamar was raised in Silver Spring and went to high school at Richard Montgomery in Rockville. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Virginia Tech and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school she worked as a veterinary technician and lodging staffer here at Pet Dominion. She is happy to have returned back to Maryland after almost a decade of living in southern Virginia, but will forever be a Hokie at heart. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine and animal behavior. Outside of work she loves to play board games, try new types of food, and travel. Her home is currently full to the brim with 2 dogs and 3 cats, but she is looking to upgrade to a small farm to make room for some pet cows.
