Pet Dominion is Excited to Host Hero Dogs Next Tuesday, July 3rd!

Hero DogsWe’re holding a Pawtriotic Celebration here at Pet Dominion next Tuesday and we’ve invited some very special friends: service dogs and volunteers from Hero Dogs!  The Montgomery County-based organization is a Maryland 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation who has honorably made it their mission “to provide independence and improved quality of life to our nation’s veterans by raising, training, and placing service dogs (‘Hero Dogs’) with injured or disabled military veterans who have served honorably in the United States Armed Forces”.  Some of these “Hero Dogs” will be on hand to give a live demonstration of what they do for our wounded veterans.

So, we’re inviting you and your dog to come to our Pawtriotic Celebration on Tuesday to meet these incredible dogs and their selfless volunteers.  We’ll have food and fun!  Your dog can stay for daycare where he/she will get a red, white and blue frosty treat and a pool party (all included in our daycare rate).  The event runs from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

In the meantime, Pet Dominion is collecting donations for this worthy cause.  We’re asking all of our clients to give whatever they can to Hero Dogs this week (and the beginning of next).  We’ll collect the donations, match them and then present the total funds raised to Hero Dogs on Tuesday!  Everyone who gives $10.00 or more will receive a special “pawtriotic” bandana for their pet (while supplies last).  You don’t want to miss being a part of this “pawtriotic” event on the eve of Independence Day!

Donations are cash or check only.  Checks should be made out to: Hero Dogs, Inc.  Please see a front office staff member to donate and receive your free bandana (while supplies last).

And don’t forget come to our celebration on Tuesday!  For more information, please give us a call today at (301)258-0333.  For more information on Hero Dogs, visit their web site at Hero-dogs.org.
