Vaccine Schedules Explained
Puppies and kittens get a round of vaccines every 3-4 weeks until they are approximately 4 months old. The repeated boosters elevate your pet's immunity level until they are protected from each disease vaccinated against. Those last boosters expire after one year. At your pet's first adult visit they will be re-vaccinated according their individual needs. Many vaccines then expire after three years.
All pets are legally required to be up to date on their Rabies vaccine whether or not they go outside. All other vaccines are recommended according to individual risk and your preference.
